Pair Panel And Battery
Solar works best when it charges a battery during daylight. Then you use the battery later.
Check the panel output, battery input, and cables before an outage. Many failures are just missing cords.
Practice Outside
Try the setup on a normal sunny day. See how long it takes to charge a phone or power bank. Shade, clouds, and window glass can cut output.
Keep panels dry unless the maker says they can handle rain.
